WEEKLY BITS - Epiphany - January 2, 2022

1. Today we celebrate the Epiphany of our Lord and the many ways that Christ has made himself known to the world, mainly the three events that manifested the mission and divinity of Christ: the visit of the Magi, the baptism of Jesus, and the miracle at Cana. The Feast of the Epiphany is sometimes known as Three Kings Day to remember the visit of the Magi to the infant Jesus.

2. A heartfelt thank you to all of you for the sacrificial support you have shown to the parish throughout the entire year, and especially during this Christmas season!

1. Dnes slávime sviatok Zjavenia Pána - Epifániu, týmto sviatkom si cirkev pripomína tri zázraky: príchod mudrcov z Východu, Ježišov krst v Jordáne a jeho prvý zázrak v Káne Galilejskej. Sviatok Epifánie sa niekedy nazýva sviatkom Troch kráľov, aby nám pripomenul cestu troch Mudrcov Gašpara, Melichara a Baltazára do Betlehema k malému Jezuliatku.
