WEEKLY BITS - Corpus Christi - June 19, 2022

1. Today is Father’s Day. We pray for God’s blessings for our fathers and wish all a very joyful and happy day. God bless all our fathers. If you would like them to be remembered at the Holy Masses on Father’s Day as well as other Masses celebrated for them throughout the month of June please submit the names of your fathers, both living and deceased. You may submit their names by e-mail to fr.stefan@eastrivercatholics.org, dropping a note with their names in the collection basket or mailing them to our church address. If you would like to make an offering, envelopes for this purpose will be available on the table in the back of the church.

2. If you have not yet made your offering to the Cardinal’s Appeal 2022, it is encouraged that you do so soon. Any questions or concerns about the Appeal may be directed by e-mail to Fr. Stefan at fr.stefan@eastrivercatholics.org or to Lisa Calabrese at parishfin@eastrivercatholics.org.

3.Thank you to LUX NY for live streaming our 10:15am Slovak and 12 noon English Masses every Sunday. You can view the Mass by going online to Facebook: East River Catholics for the English Mass and Lux NY for the Slovak Mass.  We are also grateful for Lux NY for live streaming the periodic ‘East River Concerts.’

4. Please pray for peace in Ukraine.

1. Dnes je Deň otcov. Vyprosujeme pre našich otcov Božie požehnanie a prajeme im šťastný deň. Nech Nebeský Otec žehná všetkých otcov. Prosíme, napíšte nám mená svojich otcov, žijúcich aj zosnulých, aby sme ich mohli zaradiť do zoznamu otcov, za ktorých budú odslúžené sväté omše na Deň otcov, ako aj ďalšie omše, ktoré budeme za nich sláviť počas júna. Ich mená môžete zaslať e-mailom na adresu fr.stefan@eastrivercatholics.org, môžete ich mená napísať na lístoček a vhodiť ho do košíka počas zbierky, alebo pošlite ich poštou na adresu kostola. Ak by ste chceli obetovať milodar na tento účel, obálky budú na stolíku pri vchode do kostola.

2. Ak ste ešte neobetovali milodar na „Cardinal’s Appeal 2022“, prosíme, urobte tak čo najskôr. Ak máte nejaké otázky ohľadne tejto zbierky, pošlite email otcovi Štefanovi na adresu fr.stefan@eastrivercatholics.org alebo Lise Calabrese na adresu parishfin@eastrivercatholics.org.

3. Ďakujeme LUX NY za vysielanie našich slovenských a poludňajších anglických sv. omší každú nedeľu. Vysielanie môžete sledovať na Facebook webstránke nasledovne: anglickú sv. omšu na webstránke East River Catholics a slovenskú sv. omšu na LUX NY. Sme vďační spoločnosti LUX NY aj za občasný živý prenos koncertov zo série „East River Concerts“.
