WEEKLY BITS - 7th Sunday of Easter - May 29, 2022

1. Congratulations to Andrew Salak who was baptized on May 28 in St. John Nepomucene Church..

2. Next Sunday, June 5th, eight students of the Slovak-speaking religious classes will receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion.

3. Father’s Day is on June 19th. Please submit the names of your fathers, both living and deceased, so that they may be remembered at the Holy Masses on Father’s Day as well as other Masses celebrated for them throughout the month of June. You may submit their names by e-mail to fr.stefan@eastrivercatholics.org, dropping a note with their names in the collection basket or mailing them to our church address. If you would like to make an offering, envelopes for this purpose will be available on the table in the back of the church.

4. Please pray for peace in Ukraine.

1. Blahoželáme Andrewovi Salakovi, ktorý bol pokrstený v Kostole sv. Jána Nepomuckého 28. mája.

2. Na budúcu nedeľu 5. júna prijme sviatosť prvého svätého prijímania osem detí, ktoré chodia na hodiny náboženstva v slovenčine.

3. Deň otcov je 19. júna. Prosíme, napíšte nám mená svojich otcov, žijúcich aj zosnulých, aby sme ich mohli zaradiť do zoznamu otcov, za ktorých budú odslúžené sväté omše na Deň otcov, ako aj ďalšie omše, ktoré budeme za nich sláviť počas júna. Ich mená môžete zaslať e-mailom na adresu fr.stefan@eastrivercatholics.org, môžete ich mená napísať na lístoček a vhodiť ho do košíka počas zbierky, alebo pošlite ich poštou na adresu kostola. Ak by ste chceli obetovať milodar na tento účel, obálky budú na stolíku pri vchode do kostola.
