1. February 14th the universal Church celebrates the Feast of Slavic Christian missionaries Ss. Cyril and Methodius, who brought Christianity to Central Europe and to present day Slovakia. We honor them at all the Masses on that today. We will honor them again in July when the Church in Slovakia celebrates their feast on July 5th.

2. The Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal has begun. It is very important that we participate in this campaign and show our support for the Church. Give whatever you can. Please make sure that you list your name and the name of our parish on the Cardinal’s Appeal envelope so that our parish will be appropriately credited with participation. 1. Tento týždeň 14. februára oslavuje všeobecná Cirkev našich patrónov sv. Cyrila a Metoda, slovanskýchkresťanských vierozvestcov, ktorí sa veľkou mierou podieľali na rozširovaní kresťanstva v strednej Európe, čiže aj na území terajšieho Slovenska. My si uctíme týchto svätcov počas všetkých
sv. omší 14. februára. Uctíme si ich znova 5. júla, kedy ich sviatok slávi cirkev na Slovensku.

2. Cardinal’s Stewardship Appeal - Každoročná Kardinálova zbierka sa začala. Je veľmi dôležité, aby sme sa zapojili do tejto kampane a ukázali našu podporu Cirkvi. Darujte čokoľvek môžete. Prosím uveďte vaše meno a meno našej farnosti na Cardinal’s Appeal obálke, aby naša farnosť mohla byť uvedená v zozname zúčastnených farností.
