1. Blessed Advent - These next three weeks lead us to the great feast of The Nativity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is so easy to become distracted by all that has to be done for December 25th - shopping, parties, etc. As Catholics, let us utilize this time to enrich our spiritual lives.

2. Holy Day of obligation this Saturday - see Mass scheduleon page 2 of the bulletin.

3. Please make every effort to come to the church on time, before the beginning of the holy Mass. Whether the tardiness is the result of indifference, laziness, disrespect or ignorance, it is wrong.

4. Please turn off/silence your cell phone during the Mass.

5. Congratulations to Fr. Stefan Chanas on his incardination into the archdiocese of New York. He is now New York archdiocesan priest.

6. Welcome Fr. Ronelo P. Anung who is replacing Fr. Antonion Ferrer. He is our new parochal vicar.

7. Congratulations and many happy years to Thomas Hagan who was baptized at St. John’s last Sunday, November 25.

1. Požehnaný Advent - Nasledujúce tri týždne sú pre nás prípravou na veľký sviatok Narodenia nášho Pána a Spasiteľa Ježiša Krista! Je veľmi jednoduché, nechať sa rozptýliť všetkým tým, čo sa musí urobiť do 25. decembra - nákupy, večierky atď. Ako katolíci využime tento čas radšej na obohatenie nášho ducho-vného života.

2. Prikázaný sviatok túto sobotu - rozpis svätých omší je nadruhej strane buletinu.

3. Vynasnažte sa prísť do kostola načas, pred začiatkom svätej omše. Či vaše meškanie je výsledkom ľahostajnosti, lenivosti, neúcty alebo nevedomosti, je to nesprávne.

4. Počas sv. omše prosím vypnite alebo nastavte svoj mobil na „nerušiť“ (silent).

5. Blahoželáme Fr. Štefanovi Chanasovi k inkardinácii, je teraz arcidiecézny kňaz NY arcidiecézy.

6. Vítame Fr. Ronela P. Anunga, nášho nového kaplána; nahradí Fr. Antonia Ferrera.

7. Gratulujem Thomasovi Haganovi, ktorý bol pokrstený minulú nedeľu 25. novembra v kostole sv. Jána. Nech mu Pán Boh dopraje veľa šťastných rokov.
