The East River Catholics Children’s Choir is a group for children 3rd grade and up for all experience levels - from those who love to sing to those who want to learn how. Based out of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini on Roosevelt Island, classes take place at 9:30am on Sundays. The Children's Choir sings at least once at month at Mass. In the Children’s Choir, kids have fun learning fundamental musical skills like music theory, ear training, vocal technique, and thinking 'musically.' The Children's Choir sings a broad variety of music with a focus on learning about diverse styles and languages and using these experiences to learn about the church and liturgy. The Children's Choir is a welcoming, inclusive environment for all kids - essentially embracing religious education and a positive, social learning environment.
