SUPPORT OF YOUR CHURCH

As all institutions are adjusting to the COVID-19 crisis, our parish must also make responsible decisions, especially with the absence of in-person financial offerings at daily and weekend Masses. The parish uses Faith Direct, an online offering service which enables parishioners to make contributions directly from a credit card or bank account. We currently receive about $3,000 a month via Faith Direct which accounts for less than 25% of our total offerings. Please consider increasing your Faith Direct offering or establishing a Faith Direct account, especially dur- ing this critical time.

You can easily modify your gift or create an account by going to www.faithdirect.net. Simply sign in or click the 'give now' button, and you will be prompted to enter the church code. St. Frances Cabrini is NY782 and St. John Nepomucene is NY781. Your faithful, kind donation will ensure that we, as a strong Catholic community, can continue to be prepared for the short term and long term challenges ahead. We certainly understand that many may not be able to consider making usual donations, especially those who have reduced income because of the COVID-19 crisis. Please continue to pray for all who are affected and especially for caregivers - doctors, nurses, first responders, etc.

Všetky inštitúcie sa prispôsobujú novej situácii vyvolanej vírusom COVID-19; aj naša farnosť musí ro- biť zodpovedné rozhodnutia, najmä preto, lebo ne- dostávame vaše finančné milodary, ktoré ste osobne obetovali počas denných a víkendových sv. omší. Naša farnosť používa “Faith Direct” on-line službu, ktorá umožňuje farníkom darovať svoj milodar na kostol priamo z kreditnej karty alebo bankového účtu. V súčasnosti dostávame cez Faith Direct mesačne asi 3 000 dolárov, čo predstavuje me- nej než 25% z celkovej sumy milodarov. Zvážte, či by ste mohli zvýšiť svoj milodar, ktorý darujete cez Faith Direct alebo si zriadiť Faith Direct účet, čo by veľmi pomohlo najmä v tomto kritickom období.

Sumu, ktorú darujete môžete upraviť veľmi jednoducho, alebo si môžete vytvoriť nový účet na stránke www.faithdirect.net. Stačí sa prihlásiť, kliknúť na tlačidlo “give now” ( „Daj teraz“), na nasledujúcej stránke zadáte kód na kostol. Kód pre Frances Cabrini je NY782 a pre Sv. Jána Nepomuckého NY781. Váš milodar zabezpečí, aby sme ako silná katolícka komunita boli pripravení na ďalšie výzvy súčasné aj budúce. Pravdaže chápeme, že mnohí z vás nebudú môcť zvýšiť svoje milodary, zvlášť tí, ktorí sú finančne postihnutí touto krízou znížením alebo stratou príjmu. Prosím, naďalej sa modlite za všetkých, ktorí sú postihnutí touto krízou a za tých, ktorí sa o postihnutých starajú - lekárov, zdravotné sestry, pohotovosť, atď.
