1. As you know father Štefan’s father passed away two weeks ago and was buried in Kosice, Slovakia on July 1 ^st. Please pray for the soul of his father and father Stefan and his family. We will have a mass for him in the coming                  weeks.
2. I hope you are having a wonderful summer. Enjoy your vacation, get some well-deserved rest and come back refreshed and rejuvenated, full of energy and enthusiasm for the wonderful future that God has in store for us and our parish.
3. Please pray that we get a Slovak priest in very near future. We are working with the New York Archdiocese and our contacts in Slovakia to get a bilingual priest who will be able to serve both of our communities here on 66 ^th Street and on Roosevelt Island.
4. My studies are going well. I am completing my “Slovak 101 Course” this week and will be back in New York by the end of the week. I am blessed that I was able to take this immersion course and learn as much as possible; there is still a lot to learn but this is a start.
