1. Please join me next Sunday morning for September 11th commemorative ceremony for the FDNY Engine 54, Ladder 4, Battalion 9 on 48th and 8th Ave. On September 11th 2001 this fire house lost the entire

shift of 15 firefighters. There will be a prayer ceremony to commemorate this tragic day and to remember the fallen heroes, it will take place in the park on 48th Street between 8th Avenue and Broadway at 8:30 am.

2. Just a reminder – please do not forget our special gathering for Father Stefan next Sunday after the Slovak Mass.

3. Congratulations to the children and adults from our Roosevelt Island community who received the sacrament of confirmation this past Monday administered by His Excellence Archbishop Charles J.
