BAKER'S BITS

1. Welcome to Maros Bango, tenor singer from Slovakia. Mr. Bango will sing at the 10:30 Slovak Mass and give a concert in the afternoon in the church hall, more details about the concert in the announcement below.

2. Mother's Day is next Sunday. As always, I encourage you to submit the names of your mothers, both living and deceased, so that I may remember them at the Holy Mass on Mother's Day and those Masses that will be celebrated for them throughout the month of May. Please e-mail their names to parishoffice@eastriversatholics.org. There is an offering envelope in the pew if you'd like to give an offering for them. Greatly appreciated! Mother's Day Cards are available too.

3. This week we started to offer Novena to St. Peregrine every Thursday following the 12:15 Mass. Saint Peregrine is the patron saint for persons suffering from cancer, AIDS, or other illness.

4. If you have not yet made your offering to the Cardinal's Appeal, I encourage you to do so soon. Any questions or concerns about the Appeal may be directed to myself pastor@eastrivercatholics.org or Lisa parishfin@eastrivercatholics.org

Z PERA OTCA BAKERA

1. Vítam slovenského tenoristu - speváka Maroša Bangu. Pán Bango bude spievať počas slovenskej sv. omše o 10:30 a potom bude mať koncert v hale kostola. Bližšie informácie ohľadom koncertu nájdete v nižšie uverejnenom ozname.

2. Na budúcu nedeľu je Deň matiek. Tak, ako každý rok, oznámte nám meno svojej matky, žijúcej alebo zosnulej, aby som mohol za ňu odslúžiť sv. omšu na Deň matiek alebo počas noveny sv. omší, ktoré budú na tento účel odslúžené v máji. Mená svojich matiek mi môžete poslať emailom na adresu parishoffice@eastriversatholics.org. Ak by ste chceli obetovať milodar na tento účel, veľká vďaka; obálky sú v laviciach a na stolíku pri vchode do kostola máme karty na Deň matiek.

3. Tento týždeň vo štvrtok po sv. omši o 12:15 sme sa začali modliť novenu k svätému Peregrínovi. Sv. Peregrín je patrónom ľudí, ktorí trpia na rakovinu, AIDS alebo iné choroby.

4. Ak ste ešte neobetovali milodar na Kardinálovu zbierku, prosím, urobte tak čím skôr. Ak by ste mali nejaké otázky alebo obavy ohľadne tejto zbierky, pošlite email mne na adresu pastor@eastrivercatholics.org, alebo Lise na adresu parishfin@eastrivercatholics.org.
