1. During the Mass when the ‘sign of peace’ is exchanged, it customary to exchange a handshake. For health reasons, please forego a handshake. Instead, It is perfectly fine to acknowledge your fellow parishioners with a head nod and the words, ‘Peace be with you.’

2. The Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal has begun - envelopes for this purpose are on the table in the back of the church. It is very important that we participate in this campaign and show our support for the Church. Give what- ever you can. Please make sure that you list your name and the name of our parish on the Cardinal’s Appeal envelope so that our parish will be appropriately credited with participa- tion. You can also donate electronically, go to cardinalsap- peall.org, click on “donate” and follow the prompts. 3. Welcome to those who are joining us for Mass for the first time! Stay with us and help us make our parish stronger, where God may be glorified and His people exalted!

4. Come and join us in praying the Stations of the Cross each Friday of Lent following the 12:15pm Mass at St. John’s, Slo- vak Stations of the Cross we pray on Sundays at 9:45am be- fore the Slovak Mass.

1. Počas sv. omše si dávame znak pokoja podaním ruky. Z hygienický dôvodov, prosím, si namiesto podania ruky dajme znak pokoja kývnutím hlavy a slovami “Pokoj s vami”.

2. Cardinal’s Stewardship Appeal - Každoročná Kardinálova zbierka sa začala - obálky na zbierku sú na stolíku pri vchode do kostola. Je veľmi dôležité, aby sme sa zapojili do tejto kampane a ukázali našu podporu Cirkvi. Darujte čokoľvek môžete. Prosím uveďte vaše meno a meno našej farnosti na Cardinal’s Appeal obálke, aby naša farnosť mohla byť uvedená v zozname zúčastnených farností. Darovať môžete aj elektronicky na adrese cardinalsappeal.org, kliknite na tlačidlo „donate“ a postupujte podľa inštrukcií. 3. Vítam tých, ktorí po prvý raz prišli k nám na sv. omšu. Dúfam, že zostanete s nami a budete nám pomáhať posilňovať našu farnosť, kde budeme oslavovať Boha a naše srdcia budú pozdvihnuté k nemu.

4. Príďte sa s nami pomodliť Krížovú cestu, ktorú sa modlíme počas Pôstu každý piatok po sv. omši o 12:15 v kostole sv. Jána, slovenskú krížovú cestu sa modlíme v nedeľu ráno o 9:45 pred slovenskou sv. omšou.
