1. Please continue to wear your mask and practice social distanc- ing when in the church at all times when in the church. The mask must cover your mouth and your nose. These things are simple, yet so important. We will get through these difficult times togeth- er! Also, please be cautious in making decisions if you are at high risk for coronavirus. Remember, you may always watch the live Mass from St. John on our Facebook page or watch Mass from other parishes on their pages like St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

2. Thank you to ‘John’ who left a generous donation to the church. His restaurant has been shuttered since the beginning of the pandemic and he donated customer tips that had accumulat- ed since that time.

3. The electric lines from the street to St. John Church and Rectory have been replaced.

4. As of November 17, the gas line has not been repaired. We hope to have heat in the church by the weekend or sometime in the next week.

5. Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support of the parish. If you have not made your offerings ‘electronically,’ I encourage you to consider using Faith Direct. And, thank you to all who have mailed their offerings to the parish office during the pandemic.

1. Prosím, naďalej noste masky a dodržiavajte spoločenský dištanc počas vášho pobytu v kostole. Maska musí zakrývať ústa a nos. Tieto požiadavky sú jednoduché, ale veľmi dôležité. Spoločne prekonáme toto ťažké obdobie! Pri svojich rozhodnutiach berte do úvahy vysoké riziko koronavírusu a buďte opatrní. Nezabudnite, že svätú omšu z Kostola sv. Jána môžete sledovať na našej facebookovej stránke alebo môžete sledovať sv. omšu z iných kostolov na ich farských webstránkach, ako napríklad z Katedrály sv. Patrika.

2. Ďakujem „Jánovi“, ktorý daroval štedý milodar nášmu kostolu. Jeho reštauráciu zatvorili na začiatku pandémie a Ján daroval kostolu prepitné (tips), ktoré sa odvtedy nazbieralo od zákazníkov.

3. Elektrické vedenie z ulice do Kostola sv. Jána a na faru bolo vymenené a opravené.

4. K 17. novembru plynové vedenie nebolo ešte opravené. Dú- fame, že tento víkend alebo niekedy na budúci týždeň to už bude fungovať a budeme mať v kostole teplo.
