BAKER'S BITS - November 15, 2020

1. Please continue to wear your mask and practice social distancing when in the church at all times when in the church. The mask must cover your mouth and your nose. These things are simple, yet so important. We will get through these difficult times together! Also, please be cautious in making decisions if you are at high risk for coronavirus. Remember, you may always watch the live Mass from St. John on our Facebook page or watch Mass from other parishes on their pages like St. Patrick’s Cathedral

2. Congratulations to Timea Golianova who was baptized at St. John on November 15. God grant Timea many blessed years!

3. Next week, November 22, the second collection will be for Catholic Charities Thanksgiving Campaign for Charity and Justice.

4. Next week, the printed bulletin format will change and become basically an ‘information sheet.’ We will continue to publish all information as usual in our parish E-Newsletter, on our website, and social media. 5. Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support of the parish. If you have not made your offerings ‘electronically,’ I encourage you to consider using Faith Direct. And, thank you to all who have mailed their offerings to the parish office during the pandemic.

1. Prosím, naďalej noste masky a dodržiavajte spoločenský dištanc počas vášho pobytu v kostole. Maska musí zakrývať ústa a nos. Tieto požiadavky sú jednoduché, ale veľmi dôležité. Spoločne prekonáme toto ťažké obdobie! Pri svojich rozhodnutiach berte do úvahy vysoké riziko koronavírusu a buďte opatrní. Nezabudnite, že svätú omšu z Kostola sv. Jána môžete sledovať na našej facebook- ovej stránke alebo môžete sledovať sv. omšu z iných kostolov na ich farských webstránkach, ako napríklad z Katedrály sv. Patrika.

2. Gratulujem Timei Golianovej, ktorá bola pokrstená v Kostole sv. Jána 15. novembra. Nech Pán Boh dopraje Timei veľa požehnaných rokov!

3. Druhá zbierka 22. novembra bude na podporu katolíckych charít (Catholic Charities Thanksgiving Campaign for Charity and Justice). 

4. Na budúci týždeň sa zmení formát nášho tlačeného bulletinu, namiesto štvorstranového bulletinu bude to “informačná dvojstránka”. Všetky informácie budeme naďalej uverejňovako v našom farskom elektronickom bulletine e-Newsletter, na našej webstránke a na sociálnych sieťach.
