BAKER'S BITS - May 3, 2020 - East River Catholics

1. Mother’s Day is next week (May 10). As always, I encourage you to submit the names of your moth- ers, both living and deceased, so that they may be remembered at the Holy Masses on Mother’s Day as well as other Masses celebrated for them throughout the month of May. You may submit their names by e-mail to pastor@eastrivercatholics.org or mailing them to our church address. If you would like to make an offering, you may do that by using Faith Direct or by mailing your check to the parish office. We will also list all intentions for mothers in our E-Newsletter as well as the bulletin.

2. Thank you to all who have continued to send your offering envelopes or utilize Faith Direct. If you have not yet signed up to give electronically, please consider switching to online offerings by visiting www.faithdirect.net. The parish codes are NY781(St. John) and NY782 (St. Frances). I know that these are difficult times for all, and I appreciate any support, whether through prayers or offerings, that you are able to give.

3. While we remain ‘socially at distance,’ you may see all of our news and activities on social media, website, youtube, facebook, Instagram, and the E-Newsletter. We will be together again!

1. O týždeň (10. mája) je Deň matiek. Tak ako každý rok, prosím, odovzdajte nám mená svojich matiek, žijúcich aj zosnulých, aby sme ich zaradili do zoznamu matiek, za ktoré budú odslúžené sväté omše na Deň matiek, ako aj ďalšie omše, ktoré budeme za ne sláviť počas mája. Ich mená môžete zaslať e-mailom na adresu pastor@eastrivercatholics.org alebo poštou na adresu kostola. Ak by ste chceli obetovať milo- dar na tento účel, môžete tak urobiť použitím služby Faith Direct alebo zaslaním šeku poštou na farský úrad. Všetky úmysly za matky zverejníme aj v našom elektronickom bulletine, ako aj v tlačenom bulletine.

2. Ďakujem všetkým, ktorí naďalej posielate obálky s milodarmi na kostol alebo využívate službu Faith Direct. Ak ste sa ešte neprihlásili darovať elektronicky, dúfam, že porozmýšľate nad zapísaním sa do tejto online služby na adrese www.faithdirect.net. Viem, že toto je ťažká doba pre všetkých a ako váš farár vážim si akúkoľvek podporu, ktorú nám môžete poskytnúť prostredníctvom modlitieb alebo milodarov.
