1. Many blessed and happy years to the Newly Baptized Aurelie Makrai. 2. Three weeks to Lent - Let us be prepared. The Lenten Season is in- tended to be a "workshop" where the character of the faithful is spiritually

uplifted and strengthened; where you are called to re- dedicate yourself to the principles and ideals of our Holy Catholic Faith; where fasting and prayer culminate in deep conviction of life; where apathy and disinterest turn into vigorous activities of faith and good works. Lent is not for the sake of Lent itself, as fasting is not for the sake of fasting. Rather, these are means by which and for which you are strengthened in your bond with God and His Church!

Lent is characterized by:

•  Abstinence and fasting from certain foods,

•  Intensified private and public prayer,

•  Self-examination and confession

•  Personal Improvement

•  Repentance and restitution for sins committed.

 Almsgiving - Sacrificial giving

3. Children’s playroom - If there are children playing in the children's playroom there must be an adult present at all times and the playroom must be cleaned up be- fore it is closed for the day. Please help to keep this space clean and safe for our children.

1. Mnoho požehnaných a šťastných rokov novo-pokrstenej Aurelii Makrai.

2. O tri týždne začína Veľký pôst – buďme pripravení. Pôstne obdobie má byť „pracovným“ obdobím sebarozvoja, kedy sa má charakter veriacich duchovne pozdvihnúť a posilniť; kedy sa máte znova zasvätiť princípom a ideálom našej svätej Katolíckej viery, kedy nás pôst a modlitby privedú k hlbokému presvedčeniu o živote, kde apatia a nezáujem sú nahradené skutkami viery a milosrdenstva. Pôst nie je samoúčelný - je to spôsob, ktorým sa posilňuje naše puto s Bohom a Jeho Cirkvou. Do pôstnej disciplíny patrí:

•  Pôst a zdržovanie sa určitých jedál

•  Intenzívna súkromná a verejná modlitba

•  Spytovanie svedomia a prijatie sviatosti zmierenia

•  Snaha osobne sa zlepšiť

•  Oľutovanie hriechov a snaha napraviť neprávie

 Dávanie almužny a konanie skutkov milosrdenstva

3. Detská herňa - ak sa deti hrajú v detskej herni, musí tam byť stále prítomná dospelá osoba. Prv, než sa miestnosť na konci dňa zavrie, musí byť uprataná. Pomôžte nám udržať tento priestor čistý a bezpečný pre naše deti.
